I have been in the vicious circle of Invitro procedures since 2012. I have 4 failed attempts and hopefully the 5th one I did in Memorial, Istanbul, Turkey to complete successfully. My diagnosis is partially blocked fallopian tubes. In 1986 when I was 6 years old I became ill with appendicitis due to peritonitis. I was bedridden for 3 months and my life was in danger. After I recovered (thanks to Dr. Alexieva, who has not been among the living for decades), the consequences of the peritonitis were blocked tubes - one completely and the other partially. For those 4 unsuccessful attempts, I didn't have much improvement and treatments. These 4 attempts were not meant to cure anything, they were just attempts - unsuccessful.
After listening to our friends who highly recommended Turkish doctors and after a little research, I found no bad reviews about there, we decided to give it a try. I was scared of treatments abroad from a financial point of view because I thought my funds wouldn't be enough.
My husband and I worked in England and put all of our money that we earned into IVF.
One evening my husband insistently pressed me to dig around the internet for IVF clinics in Turkey - so I did. Memorial Hospital came up first - the website was very easy, it was translated into several languages, of course also in Bulgarian. The interesting thing was that to contact them all you had to do was type in your names and leave a contact number - so I did. I was a bit impatient and wanted to be the one to call. Somewhere there was a contact phone button, it directed me to the website of the Health Center " Medical Karaj", I dialed the phone but no one answered because it was most likely late. After about an hour I got a call from Star Kara, we talked for hours and this angel explained everything in great detail so as to motivate you and give you hope that everything will be ok and we will surely succeed.
The help of the Medical Karaj Health Center is absolutely helpful. They are specially trained in the different treatment modalities, are familiar with all the best clinics, all the best doctors, arrange all the travel, contact all the clinics, and know about all the pre-treatment tests and paperwork that is needed during the treatment transition. I highly recommend Medical Karaj Health Center because without them you will just wander aimlessly and throw your money to the wind.
For me, Medical Karajis are probably the most important in my journey to happiness.
After everything was arranged by Medical Carragee, we made our first visit to Memorial. There we were met by the coordinators who speak Bulgarian of course and were with us the whole time. Thanks to Ellis and Nourie who were always with us and were so kind and helpful. Our doctor was Dr. Emre Turgut, who is a terrific professional, helpful and explaining very thoroughly and understandably. Of course, I would also like to thank Prof. Semra Kahraman who oversaw everything and was always so smiling and helpful.
The whole procedure was like a dream, it went like honey and butter with a small hitch - I had to have a laparascopy of the left fallopian tube, which had to be removed. Again I turned of course to "Medical Karaj", that is to Zvezdy, who with lightning speed responded and referred me to our Bulgarian operating Dr. Kalchev from the Malinov clinic, whom I would also like to thank. He is an awfully cool doctor, both responsive, positive and kind and inspiring a terrible reassurance. There are no impossible things for him, at least it seems so to me. His team is just like him - just wonderful.
After a successful surgery came the cherished day of the transfer, which was in May 2017. I am now pregnant for the first time at 37 years old and I still can't believe I am going to be a mother. I'm still on thorns but looking forward to cuddling my prince. I hope everything goes smoothly.
Most of all I want to thank STARS - she is my angel savior, I am still trying to reach her, whatever I say about her will never be enough, but one thing - I LOVE YOU STARS, I hope it warms your heart.
