Our story started like this: I've had two gynecological surgeries. After the second surgery, the doctor who operated on me said I would only be able to get pregnant with an in vitro procedure. And so began our wandering... walking the torment, from hospital to hospital and all the doctors saying it will work, it will work and so on for years. No one had said that these surgeries had depleted my ovarian reserve, that my uterus was damaged. It started with tests, stimulation and trying to get pregnant.
So nine years, four unsuccessful attempts and a lot of disappointment. After the last unsuccessful attempt in Bulgaria, my husband and I decided to seek help abroad. We started looking on the internet for clinics that could help us. This is how we found the Health Information Center Medical Karaj and the wonderful Zvezdelina Lutfi. On the website of Medical Karaj there was information about clinic in Greecewhich, in partnership with Medical Karadje, helps couples with reproductive problems by giving away a 50% discount prize for an in vitro procedure with a donor egg. We immediately decided to participate. We filled out a form on the website and when the raffle was drawn, we were selected. We prepared all the documents and went to Greece in The clinic. There we met Dr. Charalambos Karpouzis and his team. We were delighted with the attention and kindness with which we were welcomed. After the necessary investigations and subsequent hysteroscopy to correct the uterus, it was time for the transfer. Everything went perfectly. We arrived home, and after 14 days I saw the much desired positive test. I have no words to describe the feeling I experienced. Throughout the pregnancy, Zvezdy was close to me, always available, always reassuring me, commenting on my problems and worries, which after so many years of waiting, believe me, were not small at all.
A month ago our son was born, the joy and happiness cannot be explained... Thousands of thanks to Dr. Harry Karpuzis and of the Health Information Center Medical Karaj. Without their help, our happiness would not be complete. Be blessed and keep making dreams come true.
