Г. I. 42 years old
My name is G. I. and I am 42 years old. One day as I was doing housework I slipped and fell on my back. It hurt so much that my husband could hardly pick me up. We waited a while to see if the pain would go away, but it didn't. They took me to the hospital as an emergency, and they ordered a scanner. They said I had a minor injury and it would go away on its own.
Yes, but no! A week went by and the pain was still as bad and I was exhausted to no end because I could neither sleep nor do normal everyday things.
Then I saw that consultations with a neurosurgeon from abroad were advertised and decided to call.
They explained to me over the phone that if I wanted a full consultation, I needed to have an up to date MRI because the scanner was not accepted by this doctor. I figured that since the pain wasn't going away anyway, I'd do it, even though I was in an awful lot of pain and could barely stand the test.
I went for a consultation and Associate Professor Toktash said I had a crushed vertebra in my spine. And that I should have a so-called cementing done immediately.
He explained everything in detail and immediately gained my trust.
My husband and I decided to leave immediately and we were at the hospital on Monday.
They did tests, the next day they operated on me. The rehabilitation team took care of my recovery, which started the very next day.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the quick organization and response from the team of Medical Karaj and of course the golden hands of Assoc. Toktash.
