Here is the opinion of Ivanka Kostova (67 years old) about ophthalmological treatment in Turkey:
"I am one of those interesting patients who can see far with one eye and close with the other.
It hasn't bothered me so far, but cataract development has started in both eyes. The right one was at a more advanced stage and they told me in Bulgaria that I had to operate on it first. They didn't give me much information about the lenses and the options and choices I had. To be honest, in Bulgaria I don't trust the doctors very much and I wasn't sure if I would get the right lens.
With the help of Medical Karadži, I had a check-up with Prof. Dr. Hasan Arifoglu in July and he recommended me trifocal lenses to solve my vision problems for the rest of my life. I accepted his suggestion and decided to trust him. On 27.10.2023 at the appointed time I was at the clinic to have my ophthalmic treatment in Turkey.
The procedure
The procedure for both eyes took no more than 30 minutes-15 minutes per eye. The surgery did not need anesthesia and no pain was felt. I was irritated by the light after the procedure and because of the solution they put in for infection, you have the feeling of sand or a foreign body in the eye, but that goes away very quickly.
Postoperative treatment
Prof. Hasan prescribed me drops with a scheme for their insertion. He answered all my questions with care and concern. I asked him when I would be able to drive because it was important to me and my job. He reassured me and told me about a fellow orthopedic surgeon who had operated on a patient the very next day after his surgery / exactly the same as mine. About 20 minutes after leaving the operating room I was on my feet and ready to be discharged. After a few hours of rest, I felt like new. The day after the surgery, Prof. Hassan did a check-up and provided me with the certificates for the trifocal lenses.
After my ophthalmic treatment in Turkey inWell, I see equally with both eyes-close and far. I will never need glasses. I'm convinced I chose the right doctor!
