23 years ago I had surgery for fibroadenoma and cysts in one of my breasts in a Bulgarian (prestigious hospital at the time).
From that moment until now I had problems with this breast. My lymph nodes would swell up when using my arm for heavier things, I would get colored discharge from my milk ducts. But all the yearly checkups and graphs (according to the specialists) showed I had no problem.
One month ago this year, at another prophylactic examination with ultrasound and elastography, it turned out that I had a suspicious lesion on the same breast and I had to have a biopsy.
I started to seek a second opinion from doctors, where they suggested without further tests that I be admitted to the oncology-surgery ward, where they would do a biopsy on the spot, wait for the result for about 40 minutes. And the doctor at that point will make a decision to remove part of the breast or do a mastectomy.
I was very scared by the surgeon's quick decision and did not dare to make a decision and trust him.
I was informed about the Health Information Center "Medical Karaj" from the website of the center a year ago, when I was impressed by the fact that the team of the center helps people with health problems and others willing to help.
One month ago this year, I decided to inquire about the conditions of the health services offered by the centre and in particular I contacted the head of the centre, Ms. Zvezdelina Lutfi. I needed unmistakable examinations and possible treatment and I did not have to hesitate. My husband and I were convinced that we were on the right track for my treatment in Turkey. The whole team at the centre was interested and helped me from the time I travelled to Turkey until the research and treatment was completed. My assessment of the centre's performance is 6 - six (on the assessment scale)
According to me and my husband "Americasan Hospital" offers health services at a very high level, using the most modern examination equipment, with speed of the examinations and high competence of the doctors and medical staff. We are impressed by the humanity, wonderful attitude and punctuality of everyone in the hospital.
