Who is Dr. Murat Hasanreisoglu?
Prof. Dr. Murat Hasanreisoglu was born in Ankara in 1978. He completed his medical education at the Faculty of Medicine of Ankara University. From 2003 to 2009 he worked as a research fellow at Rabin Medical Center, Department of Ophthalmology, Israel and at Felsenstein Medical Research Center in the field of nerve injury, angiogenesis and retinal pathophysiology. In 2009, he worked as a research fellow at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology and obtained his specialty in Ophthalmology. Between 2011-2020, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasanreisoglu was a lecturer at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. In 2012, she was a clinical observer at the Uveitis Clinic at Moorfields Eye Hospital (London, England) and in 2014, she was a "postdoctoral fellow" at the Ocular Oncology Service of Wills Eye Institute, Philadelphia, USA. He served as a Visiting Professor of Uveitis and Retinal Diseases at Byers Eye Hospital, Stanford University, California, USA in 2018 and 2019. After being awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2016, Dr. Murat Hasanreisoglu was awarded the European Diploma in Ophthalmology after receiving the highest score among other European candidates. Since 2020, Dr. Murat Hasanreisoglu has been a specialist in Ophthalmology at Koç University Hospital-Istanbul, Turkey.
