Leading world-class specialists will be among the guests at the first hospital exhibition Expo Hospitals, which will be held in Sofia in early October. Masters in medicine will offer free consultations and examinations for Bulgarian patients suffering from cancer, spinal problems and other ailments.
The opening of Expo Hospitals 2018 is at the National Palace of Culture on 6 October.
Among the most interesting techniques that will be revealed during the exhibition is the surgical treatment of type 2 diabetes. On this occasion, Dr. Turul Demirel from Turkey, who has a private practice and performs a unique surgery to treat the very common, especially among the elderly, diagnosis of diabetes, will arrive in Sofia.
Also from Turkey will be presented Assoc. Dr. Zafer Toktash - one of the most prominent neurosurgeons. Dr. Toktash is recognized as a leading name in the treatment of brain tumors and spinal disorders.
The guests will be in Bulgaria at the invitation of Zvezdelina Lutfi, manager of the Health Information Center "Medical Karadži", as part of their initiative to provide Bulgarian patients with access to the most advanced methods in medicine, partnering with some of the best medical institutions and specialists from around the world.
The future of prostate cancer treatment will no doubt be one of the specialties of Expo Hospitals 2018, with this issue so important to men and its resolution expected to be the topic of meetings and consultations on 6 and 7 October. In recent years, it has become known that the treatment of prostate cancer has never been so advanced, and this is thanks to the precision of the so-called NanoKnife, which, with the German Prostate Cancer Hospital Vitus Prostate Center Offenbach, will be presented in Bulgaria for the first time at the Expo.
Unlike traditional prostate cancer treatments, NanoKnife kills prostate cancer cells instead of removing or irradiating the entire organ. It's a procedure that lasts no more than an hour or two, not the weeks that outdated treatments already take! There are no side effects, there is no incontinence, and it also rules out what most bothers men of active age - impotence.
A Czech clinic - Cellthera clinic - will also participate in Expo Hospitals 2018.
Representatives of BioTexCom Center for Human Reproduction will travel from Ukraine to the exhibition. The center consists of a team of highly qualified specialists who use the latest techniques and methods for infertility treatment. They deal with the most hopeless cases of infertility.
