Prof. Dr. Jaroslav Michalek is a specialist in clinical oncology, pediatrics, allergology and clinical immunology. He has 16 years of experience in regenerative medicine and cell therapy. He is President of the International Consortium for Cell Therapy and Immunotherapy and holds a European patent for the isolation of stem cells from adipose and connective tissue. He is the author of more than 200 scientific publications and regularly lectures at national and international conferences. In 2010, Prof. K. K. K. was awarded the prize for the highest honours in the field of stem cell research. Michalek founded the Cellthera Clinic, which focuses on the use of stem cells derived from adipose tissue in regenerative medicine.
