Prof. Dr. José Luis Martín del Hiero

Prof. Dr. José Luis Martín del Hiero is a renowned Spanish plastic and cosmetic surgeon. He graduated from the Autonomous University of Madrid and has more than 20 years of experience in his field. Prof. Dr. Martin del Hiero has developed surgical techniques for breast augmentation and remodeling that have brought him great international prestige in this field. He has contributed to the development of more advanced and safer breast implants and in 2000 he was the first surgeon in the world to use the Memtor Contour Profile Gel breast implants (currently the safest and most advanced implants). He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Professional Experience:

• He interned in the Intensive Care Unit at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid between 1982 and 1986 to develop the program in this specialty.
• Trainee in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at the Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid between April 1989 and December 1993.
• Deputy Secretary of the Spanish Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery (SECPRE) in 1997 and 1998.
• Spanish plastic surgeons delegate to the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS) in 2000.
• Head of Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at Quirónsalud University Hospital Madrid.
