Prof. Dr. Georg Schatzl

Prof. Dr. Georg Schatzl is a specialist in urology and andrology at the Wiener Privatklinik in Vienna. He specializes in urological oncology, diagnosis and treatment, BPH, erectile dysfunction and recurrent urinary tract infections. He was chairman of the Austrian Prostate Study Group from 2003 to 2015. He has over 90 published reviews and original articles in peer-reviewed journals and an impact factor of 534.

• In 1992, Dr. Schatzl received his doctorate, followed by military service;
• In 1993 he was assistant professor at the University Urology Clinic in Vienna;
• Prof. Dr. Schatzl has been a specialist in urology since 2000;
• In 2000 he passed the European Specialist Examination ("Fellow of European Board of Urology"/FEBU) and in 2002 he took a Management Course at the University of Salzburg;
• Between 2003 and 2015, he directed the special outpatient clinic for prostate diseases at the University of Urology in Vienna;
• In 2008, Prof. Dr. Schatzl was trained as Quality Officer at MUW Vienna. He specializes in urological oncology, diagnosis and treatment, BPH, erectile dysfunction and recurrent urinary tract infections.
