Since 1995, he has been in charge of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Tecnon Medical Center, Barcelona, the largest private facility in Spain. He is also Professor and Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the International University of Catalonia. With more than 150 successful cases of orthognathic surgery per year, Prof. Dr. Federico Hernández Alfaro is the most experienced surgeon in the treatment of maxillofacial deformities in Spain and a world leader in this field.
