Dr. Mikel Sans is a renowned gastroenterologist with extensive experience in the treatment of digestive and inflammatory bowel pathologies. He has more than 26 years of experience and extensive training in various areas of the specialty. He received his medical education at the University of Barcelona. He completed his postgraduate training at the Gastroenterology Clinic of the Hospital Clinic de Barcelona and later at the Department of Gastroenterology of Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, USA), where he conducted primary research on inflammatory bowel diseases. Between 2004 and 2011 he worked at the Gastroenterology Service of Hospital Clínic de Barcelona / IDIBAPS, and since 2011 he has been a specialist physician at the Gastroenterology Clinic of the Tecnon Medical Center in Barcelona.
