Yeditepe University Hospital
On 26.08.2005. Yeditepe University Hospital opens its doors wide for the first time. During this period of time until now, by introducing many innovations in health care, the hospital has managed to inscribe its name in golden letters not only among the Turkish, but among the world medical circles!
Established in 2005, with a total bed capacity of 190 beds, the hospital is designed and equipped to the latest international standards. Yeditepe University Hospital distinguished itself with ISO certifications in quality management and environmental management systems in 2011.
Yeditepe and its subsidiaries were the first University Hospital Group in Turkey to meet the high international standards and received the quality certificate from JCI (Joint Commission International) in 2007. After a period of three years of continuous operation and high standards of medical services achieved, in 2010, Yeditepe and its subsidiaries were awarded the JCI Quality Certificate. The University Genetics Center serves international patients on 800 m2 of space, on the university campus. The centre consists of advanced molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics, tissue culture and laboratories. It focuses on clinical cancer genetics for early diagnosis and treatment, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, molecular karyotyping/comparative genomic hybridization by Microarray methods, etc.
