Acıbadem Bursa Hospital began accepting patients in 2006, as the first Acıbadem Healthcare Group hospital not located in Istanbul. The hospital has a Women's Health Clinic, Cancer Center, IVF Center and Cardiovascular Surgery Department, as well as an Organ Transplant Center where kidney, liver and other organ transplant surgeries are performed.
Acibadem Bursa Hospital is located on an internal area of 30 000 m².
There are 133 patient beds, 41 intensive care beds (intensive care units for coronary, neonatal, general and cardiovascular surgery), 10 operating theatres, 1 delivery room and an LDRP delivery room.
An air ambulance is always ready to take off in an emergency. Separate intervention, resuscitation and observation rooms have been designed for the emergency department. Coronary and DSA angiography units are also available.
Decontamination room against chemical injuries
Given that Bursa is an industrial city, there is a special decontamination room for chemical and nuclear injuries. Patients exposed to chemicals and radioactivity are decontaminated in this room. An isolation room is reserved for patients with suspected infection in the emergency department.
Closed intensive care system
Patients remain in separate and enclosed rooms to ensure privacy through a closed intensive care system. Well-lit rooms and rooms with adequate technical infrastructure are reserved for critically ill patients.
