Jean-Violette Medical Center is a reference center for medical imaging and the most renowned center for minimally invasive pain management in Geneva, Switzerland.
Dr. Vanessa Cerny studied at the Geneva School of Medicine and then went to the USA to train in radiology and nuclear medicine. During her time there, she specialized in imaging of women. In 1989, she joined the Institute of Medical Imaging in Geneva and set up the radiology unit, developing new techniques such as digital mammography, breast biopsy under stereotaxy and breast MRI. She is currently involved as an expert in the breast cancer screening programme.
