Проф. д-р Мехмет Али Деведжи е роден през 1978 г. в Батман. Завършва медицинското си образование в Медицинския факултет на Университета „Хаджеттепе“. Завършва обучението си по специалност Ортопедия и травматология в Медицинския факултет на Университета „Гази“, Катедра по ортопедия и травматология през 2008 г. През 2010 г. провежда проучвания по ортопедична онкология – тумори на опорно-двигателния апарат в Ортопедичния институт „Rizzoli“ в Болоня, Италия. През 2010 г. като академик се занимава основно с мускулно-скелетни тумори (ортопедична онкология) и сложна артропластика на коляното в катедрата по ортопедия и травматология на Университета „Чукурова“. Получава титлата доцент през 2017 г. В момент проф. д-р Мехмет Али Деведжи приема пациенти в Университетска болница „Коч“, Истанбул.
