Acıbadem Bakırköy Hospital was opened in 2000 as the first Acıbadem Healthcare Group hospital in the European part of Istanbul. The infrastructure and technology of the inpatient floors and operating rooms were renovated in 2017 to enable the facility to meet the growing demand and better serve its patients.
The hospital has 102 beds, 7 operating theatres, 27 intensive care beds and a helicopter for emergency transport in a covered area of 18,000 m2. Immediate action can be taken for all incidents in the hospital building, equipped with an intelligent building system that can check the entire building from 6,500 points.
The specially designed delivery rooms (LDRP) meet all postpartum needs of patients.
Newborns with high-risk and critical illnesses at Acıbadem Bakırköy Hospital are cared for in the neonatal intensive care unit by neonatologists, pediatricians and physicians from all pediatric departments, as well as pediatric surgeons and neonatal nurses.
In addition, specialty health services are offered by units focused on pediatric and adult cardiology, pediatrics and neurosurgery departments, as well as treatment for varicose veins, obesity and women's health.
