Prof. Dr. Hakan Janar

Prof. Dr. Hakan Janar was born in 1971 in Denizli. He started his medical education at the Faculty of Medicine of Istanbul University in 1988. Prof. Dr. Hakan Yanar completed his surgical internship at the University of Denver Health Science Center, Colorado, USA. He completed his compulsory service in Isparta between 1995-1996 and his military service in Tunceli in April 2000. He completed his specialty training in general surgery, which he started in 1996 at Istanbul Medical Faculty, Department of General Surgery, in June 2001. Between February 2006 and February 2007, he worked at the University of Southern California Medical Center, Department of General Surgery, Los Angeles, USA. Prof. Hakan Janar, MD, received the rank of Associate Professor in October 2008 and Professor in March 2014. He speaks English and Turkish. He is married and has a daughter and a son.
