Rest assured that there is something waiting for you, after you have endured for so long, to amaze you to the point that you forget the bitterness of the pain. /Hz. Ali/
It was the spring of 2017 when, desperate and after 5 years of struggle with many interventions, examinations by the most experienced doctors in the country and several IVF attempts, I found myself in front of the office of Medical Carrage as another ray of hope. As I walked in, I bumped into the owner, Zvezdelina Kara, carrying a basket with a newborn in her arms. Somehow intuitively she sensed the pain in my voice as her assistant counseled me and without much question told her, "I'll take this case." That was the start of my tale, because every tale ends with a happy ending.
In the summer of the same year we made an attempt in a prestigious clinic in Istanbul, but we had no luck. How does one get used to the idea that a woman will never have a child of her own? I don't think you get used to it, but I had to accept it. There were so many pregnant women around me, happy mothers, cute babies and my whole body and nature was screaming in pain. I made girlfriends like me, turned my head when I saw a baby and no one and nothing was able to make me believe that happiness would befall me. That's how my 1 year went. I was aware that the doctors after another surgery left me with 0 ovarian reserve and I was almost 40.
I was in pieces and picked them up as best I could and came back to Stars with a plan - I was looking for a surrogate. A long conversation ensued. I felt protected, understood and somehow comfortable, like seeing an old friend you haven't seen in a while but always have something to say to each other. She asked me to give her a chance and listen to her instructions. What was I missing I thought? We had already been through 9 rounds of hell anyway. I had complete trust in her. I went to Istanbul and had surgery with a first rate guy with a huge heart, Assoc. Sabri Javkaitar. He echoed Stars words - give me just 1 chance, it was as if they had spoken. I explained to him that I was 40 years old and in Bulgaria I was told that my chances were leaning towards zero. He laughed and repeated again - "Let's try at least once!".
The experience was successful - only 1 egg was transferred on day 2 and today I am cuddling the miracle child thanks to the professionalism of Assoc. Javkaitar, to Zvezdi who "carried" the baby together with me and most of all by God's will.
Just when one gets discouraged and says there is no way, fate intervenes and God works miracles to strengthen our faith. Believe in miracles not just at Christmas - I am amazed every day and see the miracle right beside me!
Greetings
