Dr. Nihat Tanfer, a specialist with over 40 years of international experience in the field of dental and maxillofacial surgery, known for applying some of the most innovative methods in this field, will be a guest in Sofia on 17 and 18 June.

Until recently, patients with such a problem had two options: dentures, which are removable and uncomfortable due to the lack of bone, or restoring the jaw with bone from another part of the body, which involves two surgical operations.
Now with the so-called osteobioregeneration (BOX-technique) it is possible to make a three-dimensional construction of the jawbone using only materials that are naturally absorbed by the body. This avoids taking grafts from other bones of the body and shortens part of the surgical intervention.The BOX-method allows the restoration of the original shape of the jaw, with an excellent functional and aesthetic result.
The unique method was first applied in 2008 by Dr. Andrea Menoni in Italy, and is currently practiced in only a few clinics in the world. One of them is the Tanfer Clinic in Turkey.
