CV and professional development

Prof. Dr. Doga Sechkin is an obstetrician and in-vitro specialist in Istanbul with more than 16 years of experience in his field. He was born in Diyarbakir in 1981. Prof. Dr. Doga Sechkin received his medical degree from Ankara University Medical School in 2006. He conducted his postgraduate studies at the renowned Dr. Zekay Tahir Burak Women's Health Teaching and Research Hospital in Ankara from 2007 to 2012. She received the title of associate professor of gynecology and obstetrics in 2017. He is married and has two children.

  • Laparoscopic treatment of endometrioma accompanying a dermoid tumor in a single ovary presenting as atypical endometrioma
  • A case of hemivaginal obstruction and ipsilateral renal anomaly syndrome complicated with pyometra: tips and tricks for laparoscopic hemihysterectomy.
  • Modified extraperitoneal suspension of uterosacral ligament to prevent the risk of cuff prolapse after vaginal hysterectomy; 4 Clamp method.
  • Laparoscopic blind endometrial cavity resection for Robert's uterus.
  • Laparoscopic excision of pregnancy scar and restoration of isthmocele.
